Expedition Outline 🗺️

My Mount Everest expedition is set to unfold over approximately 65 days, from the early weeks of April 2024 to June 2024. Throughout this adventure, I'll be experiencing the highs and lows of both the towering peaks and the valleys of personal growth.

Sleeping arrangements will be a mix of cozy lodges nestled below basecamp and camping beyond basecamp (5634m).

Chosen route: South Col route. This path, trekked by countless climbers before, presents a perfect balance of challenge and accessibility. Its popularity is well-earned, as it's known to maximise my chances of reaching the summit while providing a safe and well-trodden passage.

A notable prelude to this journey is my previous venture to Everest Base Camp, standing at an impressive 5,364 meters. This served as a stepping stone in my quest for greater heights. And speaking of heights, my sights are set on Kilimanjaro (5,895 meters) as the next stop before the expedition. But before setting foot on Everest's, I'll be climbing a peak between 7,000 and 7,500 meters. These ascents will bolster my acclimatisation, ensuring that when I tackle Everest's heights, I'm doing so with a strong foundation.

A successful summit entails a mix of acclimatisation, great mental state, peak physical fitness, and reliable equipment. These key ingredients will be my companions throughout this expedition, as I strive to conquer the world's highest mountain. It's not merely about reaching the summit; it's about the journey itself, the growth, and the indomitable spirit that fuels this incredible adventure. Therefore I have chosen to document my entire journey from start to finish- follow my journey on social media platforms.

Stay tuned as I prepare to take on Everest's challenges and forge ahead in my pursuit of pushing boundaries and reaching for greater achievements.

Join me on this incredible expedition where each step takes me closer to the sky and teaches me something profound about myself and the world around me.
