Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Worldwide Adventures (“WA”). These Terms Conditions ("T&Cs") apply to all treks, tours,

and services offered by WA. By booking a trek with us, you agree to abide by these terms.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Deposit: A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit is part of

the total package cost and will be deducted from the final payment.

1.2 Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid no later than30 days before the trek start date.

Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of your booking.

1.3 Late Bookings: For bookings made less than 30 days before the trek start date, full payment is

required at the time of booking.

2. Cancellations by the Customer

2.1Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellations made more than 30 days before the trek start date will forfeit the deposit only.

• Cancellations made between 15-30 days before the trek start date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

• Cancellations made less than 15 days before the trek start date will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

2.2 No-Show: If you fail to show up on the trek start date, no refunds will be provided.

2.3 Transfer of Booking: You may transfer your booking to another individual up to 15 days before the

trek start date, subject to WA's approval and a $50 transfer fee.

3.Cancellations by WA

3.1 WA reserves the right to cancel any trek due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited

to natural disasters, political instability, or insufficient group size.

3.2 In such cases, WA will offer one of the following options:

• A full refund of the amount paid.

• A credit towards a future trek with WA.

3.3 WA is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by customers (e.g., flights, visas, or travel

insurance) due to cancellation.

4. Travel Insurance

4.1 All participants are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers:5. 6. • Medical emergencies and evacuation.

• Trip cancellations and interruptions.

• Trekking at high altitudes (above 4,000 meters).

4.1 WA is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of proper insurance coverage.

Assumption of Risk and Liability

5.1 Trekking involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property

damage, or loss, altitude sickness, and death. By participating, you acknowledge these risks

and accept responsibility for your own safety and well-being.

5.2 WA and its staff, including guides and porters, are not liable for any injury, death, or loss

incurred during the trek unless caused by gross negligence.

Loss or Damage to Belongings

6.1 WA is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the trek, including

but not limited to luggage, electronics, or personal documents.

6.2 It is the participant's responsibility to secure their belongings at all times.

7. Fitness and Health Requirements

7.1 Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit for the trek. WA

reserves the right to deny participation to anyone deemed unfit.

7.2 Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions during the booking process.

7.3 WA is not liable for any health issues or medical emergencies that arise during the trek.

8. Force Majeure

8.1 WA is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or cancellations caused by events beyond its

control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or strikes.

9. Conduct and Behaviour

9.1 Participants must follow the instructions of WA staff and guides at all times.

9.2 WA reserves the right to remove any participant from the trek for behaviour that endangers

themselves, others, or the environment. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

10. Complaints and Disputes

10.1 Any complaints should be raised with WA during the trek. WA will make every effort to resolve

issues promptly.

10.2 Disputes that cannot be resolved during the trek must be submitted in writing within 14 days

after the trek concludes.

11. Photography and Media11.1 By participating in a trek, you consent to WA using photographs and videos taken during the

trek for promotional purposes.

11.2 If you do not wish to appear in promotional material, please notify WA in writing before the trek.

12. Indemnity Agreement

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of Worldwide

Adventures. I accept full responsibility for my participation in the trek and any associated risks. I agree to

indemnify and hold harmless Worldwide Adventures, its employees, agents, and partners, from any claims,

damages, losses, or expenses arising from my participation, except where caused by gross negligence.

13. Governing Law

13.1 These T&Cs are governed by the laws of United Kingdom Any disputes will be subject to the

exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in London.
